The Black Madonna & Other Sacred Spaces and Homing: Site Reflections are two interconnected multidisciplinary exhibitions hosted at the Urban Arts Space in downtown Columbus, located in the historic Lazarus Building. The Black Madonna & Other Sacred Spaces focuses on healing, ancestral memory, and sacred creative practices within Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities, offering a rich cultural experience. Meanwhile, Homing is a collaborative project by Katherine G. Moore and Kathryn Nusa Logan that explores relationships to landscape through sound, movement, and participatory performance, featuring film, audio, and installations documenting site-specific projects from across Ohio. Both exhibitions are free to the public, operating Tuesday to Saturday from 11 AM to 6 PM, and until 8 PM on Thursdays.
