Details:
Ghanaian Artists at the Intersection of Columbus and Accra invites the public to experience a remarkable exhibition celebrating the transformative power of art as a bridge between cultures. On view from July 16 through August 30, this six-week exhibition features works collected by Artway patrons during a cultural exchange journey to Ghana, where artists, community leaders, and cultural ambassadors from Columbus engaged in meaningful dialogue with Ghanaian artists and creatives. Each artwork reflects not only the extraordinary talent of its creator but also the personal connections formed through shared experiences. Inspired by the enduring Sister City relationship between Columbus and Accra, the exhibition embodies Artway’s mission of fostering global collaboration through creativity, cultural understanding, and mutual respect. A public opening reception will be held on July 16, followed by a series of public programs throughout the exhibition, inviting visitors to explore how art transcends borders, strengthens communities, and begins lasting conversations across continents.
