Dreamworlds

The upcoming exhibition at Blockfort titled "Dreamworlds" features the imaginative works of artists Jon Stommel, Deanna Wong, and Hannah Bunzey, who explore fantastical realms through whimsical and sometimes dark imagery. Their art blends elements of the natural environment with surreal storytelling, inviting viewers into playful yet profound spaces. The exhibition will have a reception on August 7, from 6-8pm. Complementing this theme of exploration and creativity is the work of Brian Buchanan, a Columbus-based artist with roots in both the U.S. and Germany. Buchanan captures the essence of "Ubiquitous Beauty" through his monumental, hand-painted murals that incorporate ambigrams and multidimensional techniques. His work reflects a dedication to the beauty present in life and community, resonating with the themes of imagination and exploration showcased in "Dreamworlds."
