Details:
Celebrate the life and legacy of Tracy Montminy (1911–1992), founder of the Montminy Gallery at the Boone County History & Culture Center, at this special fundraising event.
Guests will enjoy cake and refreshments while bidding on beautifully decorated cakes to take home or order for a future occasion, along with original artist-made birthday cards available for bidding or purchase. Also available for auction is an unforgettable Progressive Art Tour through the homes of celebrated local artists Kate Gray and Jo Stealey, along with noted art collector and culinary host Robin LaBrunerie. Guests will enjoy guided tours through each home, featuring artist-made works, personal collections, and stories behind the art, while savoring a specially crafted drink and bite.
A visionary artist, educator, and muralist, Tracy Montminy believed in the power of art to connect communities and inspire change. Her generous gift established the Gallery and continues to shape its future. Join us Saturday, June 20 from 2–4pm in honoring her legacy and supporting a space dedicated to creativity, access, and meaningful engagement.
