STEAM Saturdays | Monster Mash

Join us for a month of thrilling creativity at our October STEAM Saturdays: Monster Mash, and Second Saturdays at VVM, where families can dive into hands-on monster-themed crafts and experiences!

In the STEAM Lab, children can enjoy fun activities such as creating clothespin monsters, coffee filter monsters, paper bag monsters, and engaging in white crayon resist spider web watercolor art. Celebrate Halloween with Frankenstein fork painting, while fostering curiosity about paleontology, fossils, and prehistoric life. These activities support early learning through play and creativity, encouraging families to explore together and ignite a lasting interest in science.

On Second Saturdays at the Victor Valley Museum, kids can design their own unique paper bag monster puppets, adding whimsical eyes, teeth, and details to bring their monsters to life. This relaxed and welcoming event promotes creativity, curiosity, and connection to science and culture.

Both events are included with general admission, and families can enjoy meaningful experiences together in a fun, interactive environment. Admission varies by age, with discounts for military, seniors, and students, and free entry for children under five. The museum is accessible for all, and parking is complimentary.
