Arabia Mountain Heritage Area Alliance

The Arabia Mountain Heritage Area Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the natural, scenic, cultural, and historic resources within the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area. Their mission is to protect, connect, and share the rich history, culture, and landscapes of the area for the benefit and enjoyment of all. The Alliance coordinates activities within the Heritage Area, which spans 40,000 acres east of Atlanta and is known for its unique granite outcrops, diverse ecosystems, and significant human history, including Native American settlements, agricultural past, and quarrying operations. They engage in activities such as environmental education, trail maintenance, volunteer coordination, and organizing events like historical tours and nature hikes.
