Join us for an enriching art experience that blends oil painting and photography in two unique courses.
In "DAP 03 - Freedom of Expression Through Oil Painting," led by Emerson, students of all skill levels will explore their inner artist by drawing inspiration from conscious and subconscious ideas. The class offers basic instruction in oil painting techniques, composition, subject matter, and artistic concepts, encouraging individual creativity and expression.
Meanwhile, "PHO 03 - Lens Language," taught by Jordana Dale, provides a comprehensive 6-week journey into photography. Students will develop a strong technical foundation in essential skills such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO, composition, and lighting. Each session integrates these technical aspects with creative exercises, helping participants cultivate their unique visual language. Students are expected to bring a camera with manual controls, a charged battery and memory card (or film), and a device for editing.
Together, these courses offer an opportunity to explore the arts through different mediums, enhancing personal artistic expression and storytelling.
