Ever feel like the version of faith you were handed was less about love and more about an ultimatum? A lot of us grew up hearing the exact same pitch: make the right choice or face eternal fire and brimstone. It's a fear-based framework designed to keep people in line, but it completely contradicts a God of radical, unconditional love. Turning the gospel into a threat just doesn't sit right. If that kind of theology always felt unsettling to you, you aren't the only one. This summer, we are unpacking the messaging we've been sold about the afterlife. Join us at The Collective starting Sunday, June 7 for a new four-part sermon series: Heaven, Hell, & The Lies We've Been Sold. We are going to look at what the text actually says and focus on building a faith centered on abundance instead of anxiety. * * * We gather on the first and third Sundays of each month at 5:00pm for a meaningful time of music, prayer, communion, and connection. Whether you're rooted in faith or just exploring, you are welcome here. Kids Church is offered during the service, with age-appropriate activities that help children grow in love, curiosity, and kindness. After worship, stick around for a community meal -free and open to all. It's a chance to share food, build relationships, and just be together. Come as you are. There's a place for you at the table. Click the "Let us know you're coming!" button to get connected before you visit!
