In 1956, Pastors Tommy and Lola Fuller stepped out in simple but bold faith, planting a church on the northeast side of Fresno. With little more than a handful of people, a deep conviction in their hearts, and a passion for the gospel, Northeast Assembly of God was born. What started as a humble gathering quickly became a Spirit-filled community—marked by prayer, worship, and a desire to see lives transformed by Jesus. Through the decades, the church grew—one soul, one family, one generation at a time. God’s faithfulness was evident at every turn. The church became a place where countless lives have been impacted with the one thing that can change a person's life more than anything else, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Now, after nearly seventy years of ministry, that same spirit of faith still drives us forward. Today, we are known as Access Church—a name that reflects our vision to help people find their people, place, and purpose as they follow Jesus. While our name has changed, our mission remains the same: to be a Spirit-filled church that connects people to God and to each other. From a small beginning to a growing, vibrant family of faith, the story of this church has always been written by the hand of God. And we believe the best chapters are still ahead.
