We the People: History & Calligraphy for Ages 9-12

Kids will be shown examples of primary source documents and discuss the way information is shared and remembered throughout history. Then, kids will create their own historically inspired “declarations” using calligraphy pens on homemade paper (pre-made) . Registration is required and begins Wednesday, July 29 @ 3:30 PM. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Parsippany Library! Photographs and/or video may be taken at this event. By taking part in this event you grant the library full rights to use the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes. This might include (but is not limited to) the right to use them in the library’s printed and online publicity, website, social media, and press releases. If you do not wish to be photographed during this event, please inform a library staff member.
