Details:
Kinusaiga, meaning "silk-wrapped picture," traditionally uses carved wood and kimono fabric. The fabric is wrapped around a grooved base to create patchwork pictures, often depicting landscapes. Using a mix of patterns, colors, and textures creates visual interest, and the design possibilities are endless. And no sewing is involved!
In this 3 hour workshop, we will be using craft knives and scissors, cutting and applying fabrics to a sticky foam base to create a unique ready-to-hang artwork featuring a Lookout Mountain sunset. All materials are included in the class fee. Ages 16+ are welcome. Reserve your spot now! www.knotandneedle.com/service-page/intro-to-kinusaiga
