Special guest Josh Johnson, curator at the Bart Garrison Agricultural Museum, will discuss the eleven-year Reconstruction period immediately following the Civil War. The presentation will address Anderson's role in state and local Reconstruction politics, the myth of Manse Jolly, social upheaval at the end of slavery, and early Black communities and leaders of Anderson.
