Join us for Carolina Day on Saturday, June 28 from 1:00–3:00 PM at Carolina Wren Park in Downtown Anderson!
Hosted by Anderson County South Carolina 250, this special community celebration is part of the nationwide commemoration of the 250th birthday of the United States of America.
Enjoy an afternoon of patriotic fun for all ages featuring:
• Live patriotic music from GAMAC’s Electric City Big Band
• Reenactors and historical experiences
• An indigo art demonstration
• Games and crafts for children
• The Anderson County Library Bookmobile
• Food and treats from Taste of Freedom and Sunset Slush
At 2:50 PM, the community will gather for a special Bell Tribute featuring 25 rings of the bell in honor of America’s 250th anniversary.
This event is presented by Anderson County, the City of Anderson, the Anderson County Museum, the Anderson County Library, the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce, GAMAC, and the Anderson Arts Center.
