The West Springfield Public Library (WSPL) is dedicated to providing and promoting a diverse range of materials and services that inspire residents of all ages to achieve success. Its vision is to serve a dynamic community where all individuals have the opportunity to thrive. The library upholds values of customer service, sustainability, professionalism, lifelong learning, intellectual freedom, diversity and inclusion, and free, equitable access. WSPL is committed to offering collections, programs, and services that support the entire community, opposing discrimination in any form and believing that diversity strengthens the community. As a department of the Town of West Springfield, the library offers enrichment and learning opportunities to every resident, ensuring an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. The library provides various programs for youth, access to digital resources like Libby and Hoopla, and services such as tech help and language learning materials. It also houses a local history room and offers museum passes. The Friends of the West Springfield Library, a volunteer group, supports special library programs through fundraising book sales.
