Grease is an energetic tribute to the nostalgia of the teenage years and is among the world’s most popular musicals! The story revolves around a group of high school students, with a focus on the romance between Sandy, a new student at Rydell High, and Danny, the school’s charismatic leader of the Greasers. The musical explores themes of youth and identity as the teens navigate the challenges of peer pressure, teenage angst, and personal transformation.
LOCATION ANNOUNCEMENT
Grease will be performed at Temple Beth El in Springfield, MA (near Longmeadow town line). The Enfield Annex auditorium doesn’t have working air conditioning, so to keep our performers, crew, and patrons comfortable and safe during our August show, it’s being performed at an alternate location.
Temple Beth El is located at the border of Longmeadow and Forest Park, right off of 91 and route 5 and is down the street from our friends at Unity House Players! This location is ONLY for Grease this summer so that it’s performed in an air-conditioned theater.
