Details:
Join artist and author Madge Evers for a hands-on introduction to cyanotypes, a fascinating art process that uses sunlight to create beautiful blue-and-white prints. This workshop is a fun and accessible way to explore a unique photographic technique using sunlight, pressed plants and other interesting objects. Everyone will make 3 unique artworks to take home!
No experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own pressed plants or other objects to incorporate into their designs.
Proceeds from this workshop help support free and low-cost programs at Make-It Springfield, expanding access to creative learning opportunities throughout our community.
Come solo or bring a friend—this class is all about joy, creativity, and connecting. Let’s make something beautiful together!
$20 / per person
Some half-price tickets are available if needed.
Space is limited so please register to reserve a spot.
IN CASE OF RAIN: Don't worry! We will use indoor light boxes to complete the photographic process.
