Details:
LGBG is excited to host an educator open house focused on nature literacy and highlighting opportunities for your students in our recently opened expansion! From 9 – 10 am, a panel will discuss the benefits of combining early literacy with nature play. Partner organizations will be on hand to share wider community resources, and we will be raffling off multiple prizes, including a family membership to the Garden!
Following the panel, from 10-12, educators are invited to explore exciting new garden spaces, including Butterflies Bloom! Youth & Family Engagement staff will be on hand to give a preview of new field trip experiences for pre-K students and high schoolers. Whether you’ve brought your class before or are new to planning offsite experiences, come get all your field trip questions answered!
Light refreshments, including coffee, tea, pastries and fruit will be served.
