Details:
Liquid turning to solid right in front of our very own eyes... Is it magic? No, it's science! And what's even cooler, we'll see our two passions, science and sweets, collide during this workshop!!! Join us for an ice cream making workshop at the San Lorenzo Library! Create your own ice cream with optional toppings. This activity will be an interactive food science class where we will learn how to follow step-by-step instructions and measure ingredients, all while using the Scientific Method. You'll leave with a tasty treat to combat the heat, with a scoop of science on the side! This experiment is chilly, so if you're sensitive to cold, we recommend that you bring gloves. We will be using dairy. Contact the San Lorenzo Library for a full list of ingredients and allergens. This workshop is for kids and teens ages 8 and above. Registration is required.
