Lantern Making Workshops

Join the Virginia Discovery Museum for a series of Lantern Making Workshops as part of the celebration for the Charlottesville Downtown Mall's 50th birthday on July 3rd! Participants of all ages can drop in on selected dates this month to create their own festive lantern, which will be carried in the Downtown lantern parade starting at 8:45 PM on the day of the celebration. Access to the workshops is included with museum admission. This exciting event is presented in partnership with the Friends of Cville Downtown.
