Explore the exciting June activities at Discovery Place Kids - Huntersville, where families can immerse themselves in a month-long celebration of creativity and engineering under the theme "Build It!" Each day offers hands-on experiences designed to inspire young minds through imaginative play. Children will collaborate to construct a cardboard city, Boxopolis, learning about teamwork and city design as they create buildings, parks, and other community features.

Daily programming includes a puppet show, science demonstrations, and interactive storytimes where kids can dive into inspiring literature, such as "Not a Box" and "If Buildings Could Talk." Special events throughout the month include Sensory Friendly Hours, Messy Member Mornings featuring silly string archery, and Bella Ballerina dance parties.

Additional activities involve designing floating structures with blocks at the water table, exploring electricity through circuits, and using giant Magna-Tiles to create large-scale designs. Sessions like Plumbing 101 will teach kids about the essentials of plumbing systems.
