Details:
United We Read is a literacy engagement program designed to get kids excited about reading. The program sends volunteers, weekly, to summer youth programs in Franklin County to read, lead hands-on activities, and guide meaningful conversations around topics presented in the selected book.
Two great mouse tales to choose from: "The Tale of Despereaux" by Kate DiCamillo or "The Mouse and the Motorcycle" by Beverly Cleary.
Participants to receive their book at the end of the program.
