Workday details:
Join Chaffee Rec Adopters and USFS Leadville Ranger District for a day of a fencing installations, bench installations and campsite cleanups along FS-390 in the Clear Creek area. Meet at the kiosk where Forest Service land begins and where CR-390 becomes Forest Road 390 @ 9 AM. Click here for driving directions to the meetup site.
If you have a truck or hardy 4WD vehicle, please consider driving volunteers from site to site at this workday. If we can count you in as a driver, please email Rose at rose@garna.org.
We will provide shovels, and other tools required for the fencing installation. Bring extra shovels and tools if you have them, and wear work clothes, closed-toe shoes, and work gloves (we have extra work gloves for those who would like to borrow a pair). Bring plenty of water, a lunch, layers, and sunscreen. Salty snacks, bubbly water, and extra water bottles will be provided.
The Chaffee Rec Adopters is a Chaffee County program, funded by the Common Ground Fund and run by GARNA.
