Cardtopia

Visit Cardtopia from Thursday - Sunday | NOON to 4PM from March 13 to July 25th. Keep an eye out for special events. Cardtopia is an (almost) magical fort - where families, students, and visitors of all ages can explore, play, and create together in a magical world made entirely of cardboard. Constructed by professional artists from the Cardboard Teck Instantute, the HCA team and local students— the space is designed to grow day by day, as visitors build their own creations from cardboard that will be added to the structure of rooms, towers and tunnels. A dedicated workshop space will provide opportunities for hands-on learning, guided by HCA’s teaching artists. Participants will use safe tools and simple design techniques to bring their ideas to life, developing both artistic and practical skills in the process.
