Details:
Visit the St. Marys Community Public Library from June 1st through July 31st to see our farm exhibit. Learn about how vegetables grow (from root to stem), drip irrigation in a small greenhouse, how plants grow in water, and how caterpillars metamorphose into butterflies.
Food nourishes the body and feeds the soul, connecting us with family, culture, and ecology. Explore where food comes from, how it nourishes us, and the wildlife that supports the food system, from farming to micro-gardening, foraging, insects and animals, local produce, cooking, and more!
Throughout the two-month span, stop in to watch our vegetables and caterpillars grow in the Create and Connect Space (the old computer lab)!
The State Library of Ohio supports this event with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
The St. Marys Community Public Library is at 140 S. Chestnut Street. Call the library at (419) 394-7471 or visit online at smcpl.org/ for more information. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, too!
