Theatre Cedar Rapids (TCR) is Iowa's largest non-profit producing theater, with a mission to captivate and inspire through the performing arts. Founded in 1925, TCR has a rich history and operates from the historic Iowa Theatre Building in downtown Cedar Rapids. The organization produces a diverse range of theatrical performances across three venues: the Auditorium (550 seats), Grandon Studio (85 seats), and outdoors at Brucemore (250 seats). TCR also offers extensive educational programs, including classes and camps for youth and adults, with an innovative "pay-what-you-can" model. The theater serves as a cultural hub, attracting tens of thousands of patrons annually and engaging the community through various artistic and learning opportunities.
