Free Lone Tree Resident Day at Rueter-Hess Reservoir

Join us for a Free Lone Tree Resident Day at Rueter-Hess Reservoir on Saturday, July 18, 2026. This exclusive event for Lone Tree residents allows you to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as paddle boarding, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and trail hiking/biking, all for free! You can also relax by the reservoir with a picnic or a leisurely walk. Limited to 230 vehicle signups and 100 fishing registrations on a first-come, first-served basis, participants are encouraged to register early. Rentals for paddle boards and other watercraft are available for a fee, or you may bring your own nonmotorized watercraft, which will need inspection at the gate. Free Parking/Admission Tickets grant access to all activities except fishing, and a separate registration is required for adult anglers (ages 18 and older).
