She recognizes the significance of an arts in health creative aging program as an intervention for nurturing social inclusion and enhancing an older adult's quality of life. ArtMobile-AZ, Inc, is a non-profit community-based arts in health creative aging organization that reaches unique populations, through partnering with local governments, community human resource agencies (Food Banks, Senior Agencies and Meals on Wheels), churches and healthcare facilities (senior centers, hospitals). The goal of ArtMobile is to reach isolated rural older adult populations with creative arts group sessions and individual, patient bedside/in the home art. The program is designed to bridge the arts into the community to nurture creative engagement, socialization and enhance one’s overall quality of life.
