Located in the heart of Raleigh, NC, the Poe Center’s fully-immersive summer camp is where health is “the heart” of the experience. At Camp PlayWELL, kids don’t just hear about healthy habits, they experience and practice them.

ABOUT MINDFUL FRIENDS AND FEELINGS: This week campers will become “junior chefs” as they learn kitchen skills, explore colorful new foods, and make healthy snacks. Each session features recipes and ingredients from cultures around the world. Campers will leave knowing how to follow a recipe, general kitchen safety, and how to cook nutritious foods.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with extended care options for an additional fee.
Ages: Rising 1st–5th grade (grouped by age)

Camp activities will be conducted inside the Poe Center and outside at PlayWELL Park.
Cost: Starting at $350 per camper per week. Cooking- and garden-themed week rates are $380.
