Join us for a workday on the Tahoe Rim Trail!
Trail Work Information
Project:
In partnership with the Humboldt-Toiyabe USFS, we are replacing sections of old, worn-down, boardwalk. This project will ensure that people will still have access to the beautiful Tahoe Meadows along Ophir Creek.
Difficulty:
This workday will include a short walk from the parking area to the worksite, moving lumber, and using hand tools.
We are currently only able to accept volunteers over 18.
You Bring:
Long-sleeved shirt and pants (required for participation)
Sturdy, close-toed shoes or boots (required for participation)
Eye protection/sunglasses
Weather-appropriate clothing (hat, sunscreen, rain jacket, etc.)
Daypack
3-4 liters/100+ ounces of water
Lunch and snacks
Work gloves (we have some if you don’t!)
We Supply:
Leadership, instruction, and enthusiasm!
Tools
Gloves, hard hats, and eye protection
Come out and help maintain a beautiful trail!
