Join us Saturday, August 8th, 2026, from 9AM to Noon for our annual River Raisin Cleanup Event!
Starting in the summer of 2012, the River Raisin Legacy Project has invested more than $23 million to enhance environmental and recreational opportunities in the River Raisin and nearby Sterling State Park.
A project of the City of Monroe Commission on the Environment and Water Quality, volunteer cleanup events have been hosted for more than 20 years.
Light, medium, and heavy-duty jobs will be available for individuals, families, teams, organizations and businesses to lend a hand clearing the river of debris. Supplies, including gloves, boots and trash pickers, will be provided while they last.
