Impulse Youth Arts Organization (IYAO) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Buena Park, California, dedicated to developing young people into future leaders through the arts. Established in 1998, IYAO operates the Impulse Drum and Bugle Corps, which competes in Drum Corps International (DCI) events. The organization focuses on providing high-level arts education, fostering teamwork, social responsibility, and strong ethics, aiming to equip performers with skills for competitive excellence and life leadership. Impulse has a history of success, including winning the DCI Division III World Championship in 2006 and achieving recent medals at Pacific Open-Class Championships.
