Visit your Garfield County Libraries and celebrate the halfway point of our Summer Reading Challenge with an ice cream social where all are welcome to take a break from the heat and enjoy a tasty treat. The first events will be held on Tuesday, June 30 at 11 a.m. in Glenwood Springs and at 2 p.m. in Carbondale. The second day will be on Wednesday, July 1 with events at 11 a.m. in New Castle and at 2 p.m. in Silt. The next one will be held on Thursday, July 2 at 2 p.m. in Rifle. And the final event will be on Friday, July 3 at 11 a.m. in Parachute. Free while supplies last.
