Youth Hikes

The Town of Carbondale Recreation Department operates under a special use permit with the USDA Forest Service, White River National Forest and is an equal opportunity service provider and Employer. Join us for an excellent opportunity to get outside and check out some of the valley’s beautiful local trails! Our hikes are hands-on informational sessions where you will learn “Leave No Trace” practices of wilderness travel. A hiking equipment list is available at the front desk of the Carbondale Recreation & Community Center.
