Join us for two exciting outdoor experiences in June 2026!
First, embark on the Maroon Bells Crater Lake Hike, a one-way guided tour from Maroon Lake to Crater Lake. This classic Aspen hike, led by an ACES Naturalist, takes you through stunning aspen groves and alpine landscapes while offering insights into local ecology and natural history. Marvel at the iconic Maroon Bells upon reaching the lake. The hike is free, in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, with sessions on June 22 (1–3 PM), June 23 (10 AM–12 PM and 1–3 PM), and June 24 (10 AM–12 PM and 1–3 PM).
Additionally, explore the Snowmass Wildflower Walk, a gentle, family-friendly guided tour on the Snowmass Nature Trail. Led by an ACES Naturalist, you'll discover a rich diversity of wildflowers while enjoying lush alpine meadows and aspen forests. This tour is also free, in partnership with Snowmass Village Tourism, with sessions on June 21-25 (10 AM–12 PM each day).
