The Soarin’ High Art Contest is back at the Aviation Museum at Cape May Airport—and this year’s theme is America 250!
We invite artists of all ages and skill levels to showcase their creativity by celebrating America’s history, people, places, and traditions through art.
Selected artwork will be proudly displayed at our Wings & Things Arts & Crafts Festival on June 27, 2026—in our historic WWII hangar!
Accepted Mediums Include:
Drawing (pencil, charcoal, ink, pastels, colored pencil)
Painting (watercolor, acrylic, oil)
Photography
Digital Art
Key Details:
Max size: 18” x 24” (2D artwork)
Deadline: Friday, June 19, 2026
Drop-off: Cape May Airport (500 Forrestal Rd, Rio Grande, NJ)
Entries must be original, age-appropriate, and patriotic in nature (not political).
This is a unique opportunity for artists of all ages to showcase their talents before thousands of museum visitors while celebrating America's history, people, places, and traditions through art.
