The Lakes Regional Library is a branch of the Lee County Library System, serving approximately 92,000 residents in Fort Myers, Florida. Established as part of a system founded in 1964, the Lakes Regional Library itself was built in 2005 and subsequently remodeled in 2020. The library's mission is to strengthen the community by informing and enriching individuals. It offers a wide array of resources including books, audiobooks, DVDs, public computers with internet access, free Wi-Fi, and printing/scanning services. Additionally, it provides meeting and study rooms, curbside holds pickup, and hosts various programs for adults, teens, and children. The Lee County Library System as a whole maintains a collection of over 1.7 million volumes and circulates approximately 6.1 million items annually, with over 294,000 registered users.
