The Cape Coral Lee County Public Library is a branch of the Lee County Library System, a department of Lee County government. Founded in 1964, the Lee County Library System has 13 branches serving Lee County residents with the mission to strengthen the community by informing and enriching individuals. The Cape Coral branch offers a wide range of services including free Wi-Fi, public access computers, printing and scanning facilities, and meeting rooms for nonprofit use. It provides access to a vast collection of books, audio materials, and digital resources, along with various programs for children, teens, and adults, such as storytime, language learning clubs, and art exhibits. The library also features a distinct Spanish architecture, an art gallery, and a butterfly garden, making it a cultural and educational hub for the community. Library card holders can borrow physical items, download e-resources, and utilize services like Interlibrary Loan and Talking Books for those with visual or physical disabilities.
