SBDAC Creative Academy Visual Arts Summer Camp Ages 13-17

Create bigger. Think deeper. Make something real.
Week 3 of SBDAC’s Creative Academy Visual Arts Camp is designed for young artists ages 13–17 ready to sharpen their skills, expand their creative voice, and explore advanced artistic concepts through immersive studio projects and collaborative installations.
Led by award-winning educator and professional artist Melissa Phelps, students will train in foundational and contemporary techniques while exploring illustration, painting, mixed media, sustainability, design, and exhibition practices inside one of downtown Fort Myers’ most iconic creative spaces. Campers will experiment with new mediums throughout the week, integrate conductive materials into artwork, and create portfolio-worthy pieces guided by professional artists and instructors.
Whether students are building technical skills or discovering new creative directions, this camp is designed to push imagination further.
