Details:
The plate becomes the canvas.
Week I of SBDAC’s Culinary Arts Camp invites aspiring young chefs ages 9–12 into a hands-on week of cooking, creativity, food science, plating, and culinary exploration led by Chef Nathalia Small.
Students will learn foundational kitchen skills while exploring flavor combinations, presentation techniques, food styling, and the chemistry behind cooking through immersive daily projects designed to blend culinary arts with creativity and innovation. Campers will also experiment with artistic mediums during the planning process and photograph their creations throughout the week to help build a portfolio of their work.
Led by experienced chef and culinary educator Nathalia Small, students will learn teamwork, kitchen confidence, creativity, and hands-on cooking techniques inside an engaging and supportive environment designed to inspire the next generation of culinary artists.
