Family Math Quest: Alice in Math Wonderland with San Francisco Pacific Academy

Join San Francisco Pacific Academy and Engaging Math Circles for a magical math adventure designed for the whole family.
Step into the wonderfully curious world of Alice in Math Wonderland, where puzzles, logic, and imagination come together in a one-of-a-kind outdoor quest. As you travel through a whimsical world inspired by Alice's adventures, you'll encounter surprising challenges, mysterious clues, and brain-teasing puzzles that bring mathematics to life in fun and unexpected ways.
Families will work together to solve clever math and logic challenges, uncover hidden patterns, and navigate their way through Wonderland one puzzle at a time. Think of it as a mix of a scavenger hunt, an escape room, and a family adventure, all wrapped into one unforgettable experience.
This event is designed for students in grades K–6 participating alongside their parents or guardians. No special preparation is needed, just curiosity, teamwork, and a willingness to think outside the box.
What to Expect on Quest Day
• Check in and receive your Quest materials.
• Visit a series of puzzle stations throughout the event.
• Solve math and logic challenges together as a family.
• Follow clues and uncover the secrets of Wonderland.
• Move at your own pace and enjoy the experience together.
• Most families complete the Quest in about 1.5 hours.
• Rolling admission — arrive anytime during the event window, but please allow enough time to finish before closing.
A Note to Families
Some puzzles may feel challenging, and that's part of the fun! This Quest is designed to encourage creative thinking, perseverance, and teamwork. Don't worry if you get stuck. Ask for hints, try different ideas, and enjoy the process of solving problems together.
There is no pressure to get everything right. The goal is to explore, think, and have fun as a family.
