Summer Concert Series: HAILEY BRINNEL + MERVIN TOUSSAINT

Join us at the Abington Art Center for the exciting Summer Concert Series featuring HAILEY BRINNEL and MERVIN TOUSSAINT on NIGHT #4! Presented by Visit Valley Forge & MontCo, this event is part of a vibrant series supported by Mayfield Gardens, Edelman's Coins, and Lindy Communities. Gates open at 5:30 PM, with Mervin Toussaint performing from 6:30 to 7:10 PM, followed by Hailey Brinnel from 7:50 to 8:50 PM.

Hailey Brinnel, a renowned trombonist, vocalist, and educator from Philadelphia, has gained recognition as a finalist in the 2021 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and is featured among GRAMMY's "10 Emerging Jazz Artists to Watch." She has graced prestigious venues globally and is a faculty member at Temple University.

Mervin Toussaint, a saxophonist and composer, weaves together jazz, gospel, and contemporary influences, with roots in the Haitian church. His debut album, LAKAY, delves into themes of identity and spirituality, and he actively fosters the next generation of musicians at Settlement Music School.

This year’s concert series promises five free performances, featuring food trucks, family activities, and a variety of beverages. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for a fun evening suitable for the whole family. The event is free and open to the public, with convenient parking available nearby.
