The Arts Council of the Conejo Valley (ACCV) was established in 1969 and supports a vibrant cultural community through artistic and educational programs, events, and partnerships that enrich the lives of all residents in the greater Conejo Valley. As "The Voice of the Arts," ACCV champions emerging and established artists across visual and performing arts. The organization provides member services such as marketing, technical assistance workshops, and reduced rent at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts. ACCV collaborates with the City of Thousand Oaks, the Conejo Recreation and Park District, and the Conejo Valley Unified School District to enhance cultural development and offer accessible artistic opportunities. They also nurture future artists through scholarship programs like "Hang with the Best" and the "Richard & Elaine Williams Legacy Scholarship," and engage the public through initiatives such as the Conejo Cottontail Project and their annual Summer Open Show. ACCV partners with institutions like California Lutheran University and community partners like UBS to create opportunities for artists to showcase their work and connect with audiences.
