Details:
Sign up to learn the basics of 3D printing in the Childrens Makerspace. Staff will walk you and your child through selecting an item to print from our display or the internet, importing the design into the computer program, adjusting settings, and sending it to the printer. Please plan to spend 30 minutes working with your child and a staff member before starting your print. Prints can only take up to 2 hours. Once your print begins, you may leave and return to pick up the finished product at a later time or date. Please arrive on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will forfeit your session to another patron waiting. Please note: Children under eleven must be under the direct supervision of a responsible caregiver (at least 16 years of age) at all times while on Library premises, pursuant to the Librarys Policy on Unattended Children. Please visit our list of policies here. Please visit this page to learn more about the Kennett Library Makerspaces! This program supports Information Literacy as defined by the PA Forward Star Program.
