Details:
Join us for two engaging events designed to empower creativity and career skills among young participants. First, the **3D Printing in Children's Makerspace** offers a hands-on experience for you and your child to learn the fundamentals of 3D printing. Together, you'll select an item to print, work with staff to import and adjust the design settings, and initiate the printing process. Plan for a 30-minute session with staff, after which you can leave and return to collect your print. Note that children under eleven must be supervised by a responsible caregiver, as per library policy.
Additionally, the **IMPACT: Career Development & Networking for Young Adults**, presented by the Longwood Rotary Club, targets post-high school individuals aged 17-25. This program focuses on career exploration, readiness, and life skills, providing valuable teaching and networking opportunities through Longwood Rotary members for this underserved group. Both events contribute to essential literacy programs as defined by the PA Forward Star Program. For more information and registration details for either program, please visit our respective pages.
