Details:
Join local author Christie Purifoy for a workshop on metaphors! We will learn about what a metaphor is and what it allows us to do as writers. Christie will share some examples and then we will have fun creating our own metaphors by digging in to history and place. Christie Purifoy is a writer and gardener who loves to grow flowers and community. History is a great love of hers, and her second book Placemaker is full of local Pennsylvania and Chester County history. Christie loves nature and finds great writing inspiration in earthy things.
