The Lucile L. Morgan Public Library, established in 1963, serves Cleburne County residents by providing free access to a wide range of resources and services. These include public computers with internet access, Microsoft Office, reference materials, periodicals, and a collection of books, large print books, audiobooks, CDs, and DVDs. The library also offers interlibrary loans, photocopying, faxing, and home access to the Alabama Virtual Library and Learn-a-Test for exam preparation. They host a Summer Reading Program and allow community organizations to use their meeting space. Library cards are free for county residents, with specific borrowing policies and fines for overdue materials. Donations are welcomed through the Library Board, director, or Friends of the Library.
