Herpetology Festival

Get ready to celebrate our slimy and scaly friends at Herpetology Festival 2026. Join us Saturday, June 6, from 10:00 am–3:00 pm at the Longleaf Event Center for a day of family-friendly fun. Enjoy crafts, face painting, live animals, interactive activities, and presentations.
Meet reptiles and amphibians up close, with live animal displays from the Jacksonville State University, Camp Lee, T&J Exotics, Noccalula Falls, Shell Puppies, and more. Grab lunch from the on-site food vendors.
Perfect for all ages, this event is a fun way to learn about our often misunderstood friends.
Admission: $10 per person (ages 4+). Members $5. Kids 3 and under are free.
While you’re here, explore the Anniston Museums and Gardens, including the Anniston Museum of Natural History, the Berman Museum, and the Longleaf Botanical Gardens.

Museum admission is not included with the Herpetology Fest ticket.
