Details:
August 10–14 (Monday through Friday) , 9:30 am–1 pm For 11–14-year-oldsIn this dynamic weeklong, half-day program, young artists dive into a different material each day, experimenting with techniques that expand their artistic toolkit. Participants begin in the galleries, where they engage with current exhibitions and discover ideas, themes, and artists that spark their imagination. Back in the Education Center’s Studio Art Lab, they transform that inspiration into original works of art through hands-on exploration. Led by a museum educator, students strengthen technical skills, develop creative problem-solving abilities, and deepen their understanding of art history in an encouraging studio environment. This immersive experience supports portfolio growth while nurturing confidence, curiosity, and personal expression. This is an experience your child won’t want to miss. Sign up now; space is limited. This is a drop-off program. The weeklong camp is limited to 20 children, and registration is required. Fees: Members $300, general $400. Please see our frequently asked questions for information regarding class refunds and other policies. Questions? Email youthprograms@guggenheim.org.
