In this series , participants will learn the basics of playing the Ukulele, will acquire the ability to read chords, and get hands-on experience with the instrument. The series will include 3 sessions and each session will cover the following: Session 1, Jul. 8: How to hold & strum the ukulele; Reading Chord charts, & tuning Session 2, Jul. 15: Review chords & introduce 3 finger chords; Introduce rhythm patterns Session 3, Jul. 22: Practicing rhythm patterns; special techniques; putting it all together! No musical experience required. Ukuleles will be provided to participants, but you may bring your own if you have one. Recommended for ages 7 or Older . We will be providing Concert sized ukuleles (2 feet in length) which may be large for younger participants. Registration Required 10 Seats Total (there is a Waitlist if all registration is filled) Registration Opens Wednesday, June 24.
