The Amy Sanders Library, a branch of the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS), serves the Sherwood, Arkansas community. Opened in 1989, it offers a collection of books, DVDs, public computers, and wireless internet access. The library is known for its numerous children's programs and features landscaping provided by Sherwood's Master Gardeners. CALS itself is the largest public library system in Arkansas, dedicated to providing free access to educational resources, digital collections, and community programming to residents of Pulaski and Perry counties. Its mission is to connect people, nurture potential, and grow community by offering resources and services that inspire discovery, learning, and cultural expression.
